Malaysia banned the employment of guest workers from India and Bangladesh

Malaysia has imposed a ban on the employment of citizens of India and Bangladesh - the temporary ban imposed on all categories of the workforce, including specialists, in effect since December 31.
Moreover, Indians and bangladeshtsam already working in Malaysia, a work permit will not be extended.

Indians make up about 8% of foreign workers in Malaysia. Basically, they are engaged in the fields of construction, information technology and financial services.
